Mission
El/La Para TransLatinas works towards a world where TransLatinas are protected, celebrated, and loved, where trans/intersex/gender diverse Latinx people are welcome, safe, represented and valued in all spheres of life.
Vision
We envision a future in which the human rights to migration, housing, healthcare, food, and safety are respected and protected. Knowing that a more just society for TransLatinx people is a more just society for all, we push towards the day when ALL people and communities are seen, safe and free.
“I have benefited from the COVID-19 Rapid Response Program and [El/La’s] financial support and personal items they provided me with. I have also benefited from El/La's Case Management program for more than 5 years: they supported me in my immigration process and with a letter of support for my asylum, as well as assisted me in getting my San Francisco ID.””
